Our book this year will be Sacred Self-Care: Daily Practices for Nurturing Our Whole Selves by clinical psychologist, pastor, and activist Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes. This book is structured as a devotional with a daily practice to try. It is suggested when using as a Lenten study to begin reading on the Sunday before, which will be March 2 this year, but however much or little you are able to read and practice, you are welcome to join the group to discuss and reflect together.
